Photo Story: The Road Trip

In early July, a girl and a boy set out on a ten day road trip. They began their journey in their home town, Stamford, CT, continuing through Virginia, the Carolinas, Florida, stopping in Louisiana, Tennessee, and back home again.  This is a selection of ten 35mm film images captured along the way.

About the artist: Augusta Sagnelli is a New York based photographer, born and raised in Connecticut. She studied photography at Brooks Institute in California and graduated in 2013. While her focus in the field is fashion & beauty, she has a passion for capturing all that is around us.  She uses her father’s old Nikon 35mm, model F2a to capture these places and moments in time. You can see her fashion work on her website at www.augustasagnelli.com and more of her personal work on her blog, at www.augustasagnelli.tumblr.com.
